At VAKA hair, we follow the highest standards of manufacturing to make sure every single product delivered to our customers is of top notch quality. Quality Check and Inspection is not a separate process but embedded into every single step of our manufacturing.
Yet, we do have a policy of return within 14 calendar days of original delivery date on below terms.
To initiate a return, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number along with a proof/receipt of purchase. Any product returned without initiating a RMA is invalid.
RETURN MERCHANDISE - UNUSED:
Merchandise must be unused in original condition with no alteration. Brushed, Combed, Installed, Weft Altered, Washed, Cut, Coloured, Bleached, Ironed or used in any way will not be accepted for return. Human Hair Extensions being a hygienic product, we do not allow used items to be returned for the safety of all our customers. No exceptions will be accepted.
NATURE OF THE PRODUCT:
Since all our products are made of 100% Human Hair, the texture/colour/other inherent properties of hair may not be the same across the products. There could be a minor deviation in the products and this is not a defect but a property of 100% natural hair. Split ends and other similar scenarios are natural to occur in a human hair and it is not a defect. Authentic Indian hair strands are very thin and we have made the best efforts to minimise shedding in all our products. Yet minimal shedding is natural for the first few days and it will settle down. Any return with regard to the nature of the product / shedding is not acceptable. Strong textures like curly may look shorter than the original length. This again is not a defect but nature of the texture.
RETURN APPROVAL & RMA:
We request to clearly explain the concern along with appropriate pictures in your return request email. Once the return request is approved, we will provide you with the return shipping information along with the RMA form which must be duly filled. The returned merchandise will be inspected and if the product is found to be unused, we initiate the refund process. Refund process may take 10 to 12 business days for completion.
On inspection of the returned merchandise; if the product is found to be used, no refund will be honoured and we will hold the package for 7 calendar days for the customer to pay the shipping charges to have it returned back. If you return an Item more than 15 calendar days after the date you receive it, Vaka hair will refuse to grant a refund and return the Item to you with the return shipping charges being customer's liability.
Order Processing time as mentioned in the specific product page is applicable. By default we process the order and ship it in 4 to 9 business days. If delivery of the Items is delayed by an event beyond Vaka hair’s control, you will be contacted as soon as possible and steps will be taken to mitigate the effects of the delay. Vaka hair makes its best efforts to reduce the delay but we will not be liable for the delay caused by the event. You may contact us at email@example.com with your order number for any clarifications. Due to international transit there could be an unexpected delivery delay which is not in the scope of VAKA Hair. Any cancellation regarding transit delay is not acceptable.
SHIPPING ADDRESS ERROR / REFUSAL:
Make sure the shipping address provided during checkout is accurate with all necessary information including apartment number, street name, etc.. A proper zip code with no typo is a mandate. Any address correction post order shipment will have an additional address correction charge as charged by the shipping partners - around 10 to 15 USD which is customer's responsibility. Any shipments returned due to address error or changes will have additional return shipping charges as charged by the shipping partner which is customer's responsibility. No refunds will be issued for refused or abandoned shipments.
Vaka Hair reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline the order for any reason and we will contact you at the e-mail address provided in the order form on our decision to accept or reject the order. In the event of rejection, the payment will be refunded back to the original mode of purchase and Vaka Hair will have no obligation to fulfil the order.
Vaka Hair reserves the right at our discretion to make changes to prices, policies and procedures. Please check this page periodically for changes.
